Greetings, PPF World!
By Vinnie Driscoll
Hold onto your hats—because you’re about to get acquainted with me, Vinnie Driscoll, your new editor at PPFMag, and let me tell you, it’s going to be a wild ride. I’m not just here to shuffle papers and push pixels (though I’ve done plenty of that in my 15+ years as a digital content director). Oh no, I’m here to shake things up, energize this space, and bring the heat. If you’re up for a fresh burst of creativity and editorial magic, well, your wait is over.
A little about me: I’ve spent the last decade and a half in the promotional products industry, aka the land of endless swag. From stress balls to tech gadgets, I’ve seen it all, covered it all, and yes, even worn some of it. As a digital content director, I wasn’t just behind a desk crafting articles—I was behind the camera, in front of the mic, and sometimes even orchestrating social media buzz storms. If it had pixels, I was there, making sure the message was loud, clear, and—let’s be honest—pretty unforgettable.
But that was then, and this is now. I’ve traded in the world of branded pens and promotional totes for the equally exciting (and dare I say, more specialized) world of window film and paint protection. I know, I know—maybe not as glamorous as custom coffee mugs, but I can already tell this industry is buzzing with potential, and I’m here to capture it. I’m bringing that same energy, innovation and editorial expertise to PPFMag because my mission is simple: I don’t want you to
just read the news—I want you to feel it, live it, and use it. I want every article to light a spark in you, whether it’s helping your business grow, making your processes smoother, or just giving you a nugget of inspiration that takes you to the next level.
So what does that mean for you? Expect content that’s not only informative but also engaging. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or someone who’s just dipping their toes into the world of PPF, I’ve got something for you. I’m here to help you stay ahead of the curve, spot new trends, and give you the tools to keep pushing forward. Learning should be fun, right? So, buckle up, because I plan on making sure every page you turn (or scroll) leaves you thinking, “Wow, I didn’t know that!” or “I can totally use this in my business.”
Of course, I’m not doing this alone. This is a community, and I want to hear from you—yes, you! Got an idea? A question? Or just want to introduce yourself and chat about the latest trends, techniques, or your favorite PPF hack? I’m all ears. Don’t hesitate to drop me a line at
vdriscoll@glass.com. Let’s make this the most exciting chapter in PPF-Mag history together!
