SunTek PPF Ultra and TruCut

Eastman’s SunTek Window Films will feature PPF Ultra, its newest automotive paint protection film (PPF), as well as its TruCut pattern-cutting software.

PPF Ultra’s low surface energy top coat increases stain resistance as well as longevity by limiting surface water and dirt accumulation, according to the company. The hydrophobic top coat also resists scratching and scuffing for a more efficient installation. The product is available in both high gloss and matte finishes in 60-inch-wide rolls, for full hood coverage, on 3-inch cores. The product is offered with a 10- year manufacturer’s warranty against cracking, bubbling or yellowing.

TruCut allows quick and easy pattern-cutting with minimal film waste, as well as accurate editing capabilities, which allows the manipulation of any pattern to fit specific install requirements, according to the company. The software is pre-loaded with an extensive library of precise vehicle patterns, including 2017 models.

DuraShield Titan XT

Sharpline Converting Inc. will promote DuraShield Titan XT, the company’s next-generation self-healing paint protection film. The product uses the company’s proprietary Flexcoat Crosslink technology, which provides resistance to rock chips and road debris.

In addition, the film is proven to deliver excellent protection against stains and harsh environmental hazards, according to the company. It blocks airborne and surface contaminants from discoloring the film and has self-healing properties to protect against minor scratches and scuffs.

LLumar Platinum Paint Protection Film

LLumar’s team will highlight one of the company’s latest developments, Platinum paint protection film. The film offers stain resistance and enhanced durability.

The product also features Hydroguard technology, a hydrophobic polymer coating that works by preventing water and dirt from embedding into the surface of the film. The company says this helps keep cars looking cleaner for a longer period of time.

The product is backed by a 10-year limited warranty, including labor allowance for a competitive advantage and customer peace of mind, according to the company.

KDX PPF

KDX Window Film, based in Shanghai, China, will feature its virtually transparent and undetectable urethane paint protective film. The product is self-repairing and scratch-resistant, the company says. It is designed to protect against impact damage from everyday road hazards such as gravel, rain, debris, stones, road salt and insects.

Edge Premium Defense TC Paint Protection Film

Texas-based Edge Film Technologies will feature Edge Premium  Defense TC paint protection film, a professional-grade clear paint protection thermoplastic polyurethane top-coated product. The film features improved resistance to stains from rain, UV rays, tar and oil, rocks, salt, tree sap, bugs and birds.

According to the company, the film also has good stretch, minimum reposition lines, clarity, high gloss and a self-leveling adhesive system.

The products is backed by a seven-year limited warranty.

Madico Invisi-Film Paint Protection

Madico will have its Invisi-Film paint protection on hand. The product guards against stones, gravel, sand, scratches, winter salt and other flying objects.

The film’s repositionable adhesive and its ability to stretch results in a user-friendly product that’s fast and easy to install, according to the company. It can be used on a vehicle’s hood, front and rear bumpers, grill, side mirrors, roof, quarter panels, door edges, truck bed rails, door frames and under utility racks.

Invisi-Film works with computerized plotters such as the Madico Advanced Cutting System (MACS) to provide a custom fit for any vehicle that comes into the shop.
