The 2023 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT)—my third WFCT—is just 160 days away. Educational seminars are a massive component of the show. It’s an element I have the privilege of helping coordinate. Through interviews, conversations and general industry observation, our team hopes to construct the most comprehensive slate yet.

The Power of Media
“I found a videographer at a car show; he wanted to take pictures of my personal vehicle,” shared Matthew Jones, the owner of Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings in Harker Heights, Texas. “I had realized the one thing I lacked compared to my competitors was photography and video. I recognized that and asked him, ‘Do you want to film a full-body PPF job of a BMW M8?’”
Jones’ videographer provides the following deliverables for every vehicle: a brief cinematic YouTube video highlighting the installation and 10-20 photos. He and Jones also construct advertisements and FAQ (frequently asked questions) videos.
“When I tell people how much he gets paid, there’s a lot of hesitation,” Jones told me. “But as I started posting on YouTube and social media, I have had multi-$1,000 jobs come to me because customers searched on YouTube and found the videos.”
On Friday, Sept. 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Jones will hold a WFCT seminar detailing the impact that content creation can have on your business:
